National Tutoring Programme
As part of the government's COVID catch-up strategy, every school in the country had the opportunity to draw down some additional funding to support selected pupils to 'close the gap' following the effects of COVID lockdown and home learning.
We chose to follow the School Led Tuition approach, which meant we had a teacher in school for 3 days a week working with small groups on an area of their learning, identified by their class teacher.
Below we have outlined the monies received and the impact this had on the outcomes of the selected pupils.
